THOMAS COOK GROUP RECEIVES REGULATORY APPROVAL AND ANNOUNCES THE COMPLETION OF ACQUISITIONS

4th August 2008 

Thomas Cook Group plc ("Thomas Cook") today announces that it has received regulatory approval in respect of its acquisitions of Canada's TriWest Travel Holdings and the French tour operator Jet Tours.

Thomas Cook announced these transactions on 9th June 2008, subject to appropriate consultation and regulatory approval, which have now been concluded and consequently, both acquisitions have now been completed.
