Issue of Equity
The Company confirms today that is has issued 45,000 ordinary shares to Richard Tanner and 45,000 ordinary shares to Lauren Lau, both previous directors of Taihua, at a price of 10p per ordinary share (the "Shares").
The Shares were issued to Richard Tanner and Lauren Lau in lieu of a bonus which was due to them in 2008, but had not yet been paid.
Application has been made to admit the Shares to trading on AIM. It is anticipated that admission will be effective, and dealings in the Shares will commence, on 13 May 2011.
Following the issue of the Shares, the total number of shares in issue, and the total voting rights in the Company, is now 81,737,330. For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTRs"), this total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, Taihua under the DTRs.
