Issue of Equity
Further to the issue of 900,000 share options to a former adviser in October 2010, Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY) announces that it has received an Exercise Notice in relation to these options. Therefore, the Company has issued and allotted 900,000 new Ordinary Shares of 0.25p per share ("Ordinary Shares") at 6.0p per share raising a total of £54,000. The monies will be used for general working capital purposes.
Application will be made for the 900,000 new Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading in such shares is expected to commence on or around 28 November 2011.
Following the issue of the Placing Shares, the total number of shares in issue and the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights will be 1,033,477,755. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
