Transaction in Own Shares
SCISYS PLC (AIM:SSY), ('SCISYS' or the 'Company') announces that on 23 June 2014, it purchased 35,000 of its ordinary shares of 25p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 83 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the share buy-back programme announced on 16 April 2014. These Ordinary Shares will be held in treasury and represent approximately 0.2% of the voting rights attributable to the total Ordinary Shares in issue previous to the purchase.
The total issued share capital of the Company is 29,086,075 Ordinary Shares. Following this purchase, the Company holds 52,887 Ordinary Shares in treasury which carry no voting rights. Accordingly, the number of Ordinary Shares carrying voting rights is 29,033,188 and this should be used as the denominator for the calculations by which shareholders should determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, SCISYS under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
