Contract Award

SciSys plc, AIM stock code: SSY, ('SciSys' or the 'Company') - the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT based solutions and support services to the media broadcast, space, defence, public and transport sectors is today announcing a significant contract award

The Company has been selected as one of the suppliers under the UK Government's Buying Solutions software applications solutions framework agreement for future supply of Information Management Applications and Customer/Citizen and Case Management Solutions.This announcement maintains the positive momentum at SciSys which earlier this month announced that the Board anticipates that results for 2009 are likely to be ahead of expectations and follows a number of recent Company announcements of major contract wins with key clients including amongst others the BBC, the RNLI, the Coal Authority and the European Space Agency.

Chairman Mike Love commented "the significance of this award should not be underestimated. Being selected for the two categories of development that characterise most of the work we do for Government organisations means that we have secured an on going procurement route for our established public sector customers and a channel to tender for new work from other organisations who are looking for similar services.
