Board Change

Sirius Petroleum (AIM: SRSP), the investing company focused on oil and gas exploration and development opportunities in Nigeria, announces the resignation from the Board of Simon Hawkins with immediate effect.

The Board is most grateful to Simon for his contribution to the Company over the past year which has helped bring Sirius through the current process. Simon recently notified the Board of his intention not to stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting as he is having to take an enforced rest in order the fully recover from a short term health problem and is unable to commit the considerable time and effort necessary as a non-executive director of the Company. Simon has kindly offered to help the Company in an advisory capacity if required.

New Board members will be announced in due course. In the meantime the Company has appointed Lavinia Jessup as its Company Secretary.
