Directorate Change

The Board of Sportech announces that Brooks Pierce, Executive Director responsible for business development, has resigned with immediate effect to pursue other business interests.

The Board would like to thank Brooks for his contribution to the business in recent years and wishes him well for the future.

In recent months the Company's North American business has benefitted from a number of promotions, namely Dave Haslett, Ted Taylor and Andrew Gaughan to Managing Director of Sportech Racing (Worldwide), Sportech Venues and Sportech Interactive Products and Services respectively. Andrew Gaughan has agreed to also take on the role of Business Development Director, North America. Mickey Kalifa remains as Corporate Development Director for Sportech PLC.

In March 2012, Sportech appointed executive search business Odgers Berndtson to seek suitable candidates to further augment Sportech's Executive Directors in order to take advantage of the many opportunities available in North America.
