TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS
In accordance with DTR 5.6.1R, as at 30 September 2020 the Company had 797,254,294 Ordinary Shares and 236,400,512 C Shares in issue, each with equal voting rights, and no shares held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights of the Company will be 1,033,654,806.
This total voting rights figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

Hipgnosis, which was founded by Merck Mercuriadis, is a Guernsey registered investment company established to offer investors a pure-play exposure to songs and associated musical intellectual property rights. The Company has raised a total of over £1.05 billion (gross equity capital) through its Initial Public Offering on 11 July 2018, and subsequent issues in April 2019, August 2019, October 2019, July 2020 and September 2020.
