Silence Therapeutics Submits Registration Statement to the U.S. SEC to Facilitate Nasdaq Listing of ADSs Representing Ordinary Shares

LONDON, Silence Therapeutics plc (LON: SLN) ("Silence" or "the Company"), a leader in the discovery, development and delivery of novel RNA therapeutics for the treatment of serious diseases, today announces it has confidentially submitted a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") in connection with a proposed listing of American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") representing the Company's ordinary shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market ("Nasdaq"). The registration statement was submitted to facilitate the creation of a trading market in the United States for ADSs representing the Company's ordinary shares. The Company is not proposing to register any new primary issuance of securities. The registration statement is subject to ongoing review by the SEC, and the proposed listing of ADSs representing the Company's ordinary shares is subject to approval by Nasdaq. The Company's ordinary shares will continue to be admitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.
