Block Listing Application & Cancellation of Previous Facility
A block listing application has been made to UK Listing Authority and to Euronext Dublin for a total of 3,000,000 ordinary shares of nominal value €0.001 each in the capital of the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to the Official List of Euronext Dublin and applications have been made to the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin for these shares to be admitted to trading.
These shares will be allotted from time to time pursuant to the Smurfit Kappa Group 2018 Performance Share Plan (PSP). The shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
It is expected that admission will become effective on 19 February 2021.
The Company currently has 52,764 ordinary shares of €0.001 each block listed under the Share Incentive Plan 2007 and 3,024 ordinary shares of €0.001 each block listed under the 2011 Deferred Annual Bonus Plan ("the Schemes").
All outstanding options under the Schemes have now been exercised or have lapsed and the Schemes have closed. As a result, the block listing associated with these schemes has been cancelled. No allotments have been made under the Schemes since the last block listing return was released on 06 November 2020.
