Major contract signed with Barclays Stockbrokers

Share (AIM: SHRE.LN), a leading UK independent retail stockbroker which operates The Share Centre, is pleased to announce that The Share Centre has signed a major three year contract with Barclays Stockbrokers, a division of Barclays Bank plc ('Barclays Stockbrokers'), to provide certificated dealing services to customers introduced to it by Barclays.

Revenues generated from the service will be shared between The Share Centre and Barclays Stockbrokers. The contract is expected to add approximately 5% to Share's revenues in 2015 and should materially benefit profitability this year and beyond. This agreement brings to a successful conclusion the discussions Share referred to in an announcement made on 17 December 2014.

Barclays Stockbrokers' customers using their existing certificated dealing service have been informed of the firm's intention to withdraw this service. Under the terms of the agreement, Barclays Stockbrokers will introduce its customers who wish to use a certificated dealing service to The Share Centre. Initially Barclays will be writing to 11,500 customers who have used the service more than once in the last year.

The Share Centre has provided certificated dealing services to customers for over 20 years. The Share Centre will provide additional enhancements to the service Barclays Stockbrokers certificated dealing customers currently receive, including the ability to pay for certificate purchases by debit card and the use of e-mail communications for contract notes and other correspondence.
