Appointment of Director

Scotgold is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ian Proctor as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Ian Proctor is a Chartered Accountant who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Sky Betting and Gaming ("SBG") and had previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer of SBG for over 10 years. During this period, he played a key role in SBG's buy out from BskyB, the preparation of the listing of the Company and its ultimate sale prior to listing.

Ian David Fraser Proctor, aged 53, currently holds or has held the following directorships and partnerships in the last five years:

Mr Proctor currently holds 727,273 depositary interests of no par value each representing 1.59 per cent of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

Other than as provided in this announcement, no other disclosures in relation to Mr Proctor are required under Rule 17 and schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
