Investors in Global Real Estate Limited (the "Company" or "IGRE") (a closed-ended investment company incorporated with limited liability under the laws of Guernsey with registered number 44714) Strategic Update 8 August 2014 Further to the announcement released by the Company on 2 July 2014in respect of the appointment of Schroders Property Investment Management("SPRIM") as the new Investment Manager, the Board has been reviewing theCompany's investment objective with the manager. Subject to shareholderapproval, the Company will now aim to provide investors with an attractivetotal return offering a sustainable income with potential for futureprogressive dividend growth by investing in global real estate securities withstrong fundamentals. This will incorporate a total return philosophyconstructed with a focus on strong fundamentals, expressing greater convictionfor the individual stocks across a diversified portfolio. The interim results for the period ended 30 June 2014 will be issued on oraround 28 August 2014. In light of the results and the proposed new InvestmentObjective, the Company is giving detailed consideration to the future level ofdividend, details of which will be announced at the same time as the interimresults. In addition to the change in Investment Objective and again subject toshareholder approval, the Company will change its name to "Schroder GlobalReal Estate Securities Limited".
