Board Appointment

Safestyle UK plc, the leading UK-focused retailer and manufacturer of PVCu windows and doors for the homeowner market, is pleased to announce that Giles Richell will join the Board as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.

Giles is an experienced senior executive, having worked in the manufacturing, design and supplier industries during a career spanning over 25 years. He was most recently Managing Director at Eminox Limited, which is part of the larger privately owned Hexadex Group, with operations as an international Tier 1 supplier of complex emissions after-treatment systems to automotive commercial vehicle OEMs and the retrofit market. Prior to that he was Managing Director of a market leading commercial interiors supplier and also served as Managing Director of the international marketing services group St Ives PLC, between 2009 and 2012. Giles's skills and responsibilities lie in delivering growth, improving business performance and maximising manufacturing, supply chain and other operational efficiencies.

In his new role, Giles will work alongside Steve Birmingham, Chief Executive Officer, and Mike Robinson, Chief Financial Officer, to enable the Group build on its position as the leading operator in the UK retail replacement window and door market.
