Retirement of Director

Stadium Group plc, the AIM listed provider of Electronic Manufacturing Services, announces that Kam Verma, Managing Director, Electronics attained his normal retirement age last month and has indicated his wish to step down from the board at the close of today's Annual General Meeting. He will retire from the company at the end of June. 

Kam has served Stadium for 24 years and has been a main board director since 1989. In the early stages of his career with the company he was instrumental in the creation of our Electronics business at Hartlepool. He later led the development of our capabilities in Asia following the acquisition of Arlec (now Stadium Asia) in March 2000. 

More recently, his responsibilities have included the successful integration of KRP, Ferrus and Fox Industries into Stadium Power. 

I am sure that staff and shareholders will want to join the Board in thanking Kam for his major contribution, and offering him our best wishes for a long and fulfilling retirement.
