Southern Cross Healthcare Grp PLC04 April 2007 Southern Cross Healthcare Group PLC Board Change 4 April 2007 Southern Cross Healthcare Group PLC ('the Company') announces the resignationwith immediate effect of Mr. Joseph Baratta, a non-executive Director of theCompany. Mr. Baratta was the nominee of Blackstone, the private equity group(the 'Blackstone Shareholders'), which recently sold its holding in the Company.Under the terms of the relationship agreement between the Company and theBlackstone Shareholders made on 7th July 2006 (which terminates as a consequenceof the sale of Blackstone's shares), Mr. Baratta was required to resign once theshareholding had been sold.
