Director/PDMR Shareholding
Savannah Energy PLC, the British independent energy company focused around activities in Nigeria and Niger, announces that it was informed on 24 August 2020 of the following transactions by persons discharging board and/or managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them.
Andrew Knott, CEO and an Executive Director of Savannah, acquired 9,239,454 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 7.50 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this transaction, Mr Knott's total interest in the Company is now 36,942,019 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 3.71% of the total voting rights of the Company.
Steve Jenkins, Chairman and a Non-Executive Director of Savannah, acquired 126,000 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 7.95 pence per share. Following this transaction, Mr Jenkin's total interest in the Company is now 463,800 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.05% of the total voting rights of the Company.
Sir Stephen O'Brien, Vice Chairman and a Non-Executive Director of Savannah, acquired 275,601 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 7.98 pence per share. Following this transaction, Sir Stephen O'Brien's total interest in the Company is now 275,601 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.03% of the total voting rights of the Company.
Mark Iannotti, a Non-Executive Director of Savannah, acquired 500,884 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 8.00 pence per share and his wife, Mrs Jules Iannotti, acquired an additional 100,213 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 8.00 pence per share. Following this transaction, Mr and Mrs Iannotti's total interest in the Company is now 3,667,984 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.37% of the total voting rights of the Company.
