Directorate Change

The Directors of Rurelec PLC (AIM: RUR) announce the resignation of Brian Rowbotham as director of the Company with immediate effect to concentrate on his other business interests.

The Board of Rurelec PLC would like to thank Brian for his efforts over the last seven and a half years as Senior Independent Director and acting Chairman and wishes him well for the future.

The remaining Directors of Rurelec are committed to identifying and appointing a new independent non-executive director as soon as possible, and a further announcement will be made when that occurs.
