Update on Acquisition
RockRose Energy plc ("RockRose" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has now signed an agreement with Maersk Oil North Sea UK Ltd ("Maersk") to acquire its non-operated interests in the Wytch Farm (7.43%), Scott (5.16%) and Telford (2.36%) fields.
The agreement is conditional upon the usual regulatory permissions from the Oil and Gas Authority ("OGA") and certain third party consents.
The Company shares will remain suspended as the transaction constitutes a reverse takeover.
Further announcements will be made in due course. At the current time the Company expects to seek re-admission when all material conditions to the acquisition have been satisfied.
