Sir Peter Heap is a former specialist adviser to numerous companies includingHSBC Investment Bank, Amerada Hess plc and the BOC Group. Prior to his advisoryroles Sir Peter was with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office of the BritishGovernment for over 36 years, including being the Ambassador in Brazil(1992-1995), Senior Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong (1989-1992), British HighCommissioner, Bahamas (1983-1986), as well as the Head of Energy Department(1980-1983). His appointment is with immediate effect. Richard Hardman is an explorationist and a qualified Geologist with over 40years industry experience with oil majors including 10 years at BP, 11 years atAMOCO, 3 years at Superior Oil and 18 years at Amerada Hess. Since 2001 Richardhas been working as a senior consultant to various oil and gas companiesincluding Enterprise Oil, Neptune, FX Energy Inc and Atlantic Petroleum UKLimited. He is the former Chairman of both the Petroleum Group of the GeologicalSociety and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain and the formerPresident of the Geological Society. His appointment is with immediate effect.
