Directorate Changes

The Board of Rotala is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of the Hon. Michael Samuel as a Non-Executive Director from 2nd October 2008. 

Michael (age 55) is currently the Managing Director and majority shareholder in TP Activity Toys Limited. Previously, Michael held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Mayborn Group Plc from 1980 - 2006 prior to the takeover of the company by 3i.

Nicholas Kennedy, a founder director of Rotala, will at the same time step down from the board. Nicholas Kennedy will however remain the company's corporate tax adviser. We are grateful to Nick for his valuable advice and support as a director since the company's formation.

Commenting on the appointment, John Gunn, Chairman, said "I am delighted to welcome Michael Samuel to the Rotala board. Michael has a proven track record in the high growth, small company sector and I am confident that his considerable skills will bring benefits to the company." 

Michael John Samuel's current and previous directorships (in the last five years) are listed below:

Michael John Samuel was a director of Radnor Design Limited when it was placed into voluntary liquidation on 08 September 1994. Michael John Samuel was a director of The Mells Park Estate Limited when it was placed into voluntary liquidation on 07 October 2003. 

There are no other details required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
