Delay of Full Year results announcement
RMDL announces that, following the request by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) that all listed companies observe a moratorium on the publication of results statements for at least two weeks observing that, due to disruption caused by the outbreak of COVID-19, companies' external auditors may not have had the necessary time to complete all of their auditing work.
RMDL's auditor EY have not encountered any practical challenges in preparing for publication of the Company's Full Year results, however EY has since been strongly advised by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) not to sign any audit opinions for the next two weeks, except where necessary to meet a legal or regulatory requirement.
To that end, the Company has been compelled to defer the publication of its results for the year ended 31 December 2019, which were due for release this week. The Company anticipates announcing its full year results in the week commencing 6 April 2020, subject to any further guidance from the FCA and the FRC to the contrary.
