Advisory Arrangements

Further to the announcement made on 15 March 2010, EIIB is pleased to announce that it has entered into an investment advisory arrangement with Esterad Investment Company, Bahrain ("Esterad"). Esterad is an investment company listed on the Bahrain Stock Exchange with a 37-year investment track record. Under the terms of the arrangement, Esterad will assist EIIB by providing investment advisory services relating to EIIB's asset management business in Arab markets.

EIIB is also pleased to announce that it has agreed the terms of an arrangement with Navis Fund Managers Ltd. ("Navis") for the provision of investment advisory services. Navis is part of the Navis Capital Partners group of companies (the "Navis Group"), a manager of private and public investments that focuses on enterprises based in Asia, particularly South and Southeast Asia, and which manages approximately US$3 billion in capital commitments. Under the terms of the arrangement, Navis will assist EIIB by providing investment advisory services relating to EIIB's asset management business in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) markets.

Esterad and the Navis Group have particular expertise in their respective regions and EIIB is pleased to have the benefit of their services for its activities in these markets. The arrangements with Esterad and Navis will support EIIB's aim of focusing on business in the Islamic markets and are in line with its intention of using strategic relationships to enhance its capabilities in these markets.

Subhi Benkhadra, the Company's CEO, is a Non-executive Director of Esterad and, as at 6 June 2010, Esterad held approximately 3.17% of the total voting rights of the Company.

EIIB has invested US$4m in Navis Islamic Investment Fund (Asia) LP, which is managed by a Navis Group company.
