Booth Industries Group PLC05 April 2006 For Immediate Release 5 April 2006 Booth Industries Group Plc ("Booth" or the "Group") AGM Statement At the Group's Annual General Meeting to be held later today, David Jackson,Chairman and Chief Executive of Booth will update shareholders on currenttrading and performance: "I am pleased to report that in the first half of the year the Group has madesteady progress. Both of the legacy issues referred to in my recent Chairman'sstatement have now been settled and will not adversely impact the current year'sfigures. The Group's order book continues to strengthen. Trading in the firsthalf is marginally ahead of management's expectations. "I can also announce that the Group, through its subsidiary CHB-JordanEngineering Limited, has secured a five year extension of its facilitiesmanagement contract with Polimeri Europa, the international petrochemical group. The contract is expected to have a total value of at least £10 million overfive years. "I am pleased to announce that Simon Foster, who joined the Group on 1 November2005 is to be appointed Deputy Chief Executive with effect from 6 April 2006. "I look forward to reporting on further progress when we announce our interimresults on 8 June 2006."
