Viridas PLC27 November 2007 RELEASED ON BEHALF OF:VIRIDAS PLC (AIM: VIR) 27 November, 2007 Resignation of Director The board of Viridas Plc ("Viridas" or "the Company") announces that it hasaccepted the resignation of the Company's recently appointed Brazilian chiefexecutive, Mr. Fernando Lunardini. Mr. Lunardini has resigned to pursue otherinterests. A suitable replacement is being sought and until this appointment ismade, the business will be managed by Executive Chairman, Stanley Wootliff. Viridas raised over £550,000 in a share placing in July 2007 to provide fundingfor the Company's planned trial jatropha plantation. This trial will not beaffected by Mr. Lunardini's resignation and is still on track to commence beforethe end of the year.
