Regency Mines PLC12 April 2007 REGENCY MINES PLC Issue of Equity Dated: 12 April 2007 Regency Mines plc ("Regency" the "Company") the mining exploration and mineralinvestment company with interests in copper and nickel in Western Australia,Queensland, and Papua New Guinea, has issued a further 33,178,570 new ordinaryshares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares"), conditional onthe Shares being admitted to trading on AIM. City Equities Limited has agreed to subscribe for 30,000,000 Shares at 1.75p perShare. Following the subscription, City Equities Limited will hold 30,000,000Shares, which is approximately 17.62% of the issued share capital as enlarged bythe placing. Bellmin Limited ("Bellmin"), a company associated with Andrew Bell, agreed tosubscribe for a further 1,214,285 Shares at an issue price of 1.75p per Share.Following this transaction Bellmin and Andrew Bell are directly and indirectlyinterested in 44,914,287 Shares representing 26.39% of the enlarged issued sharecapital of the Company. John Watkins, a director of the Company and of Starvest plc, a significantshareholder in the Company, agreed to subscribe for 250,000 Shares at 1.75p perShare. Following this transaction John Watkins is directly and indirectlyinterested in 26,350,000 Shares, 25,850,000 Shares held by Starvest plc and500,000 Shares held personally, representing in total 15.48% of the enlargedissued share capital of the Company. Following the issue of these Shares the Company's total issued share capitalwill be 170,226,376 Shares. Application has been made to the London StockExchange for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expectedto commence at 8.00 a.m. on 18 April 2007.
