Redline Announces Non-Executive Board Appointment
TORONTO, July 14 /CNW/ - Redline Communications Group Inc. , a leading provider of WiMAX broadband wireless products, today announces that Nancy Orr has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Board with immediate effect.
Nancy Adele Orr (57) is currently a consultant involved in the development of renewable energy projects, primarily in Latin America. From 1991 to 2007, she was President of Dynamis Group Inc., a company that developed, built and operated plants in the electrical power industry and the paper and wood recycling sectors. Ms. Orr received an M.B.A. from Queen's University in 1974 and a C.A. in 1977. She became a fellow of the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants in 1988. She has been a member of several boards of directors and their audit committees, including Dundee Wealth Inc., the Bank of Canada, HEC-Montreal, Marleau, Lemire Securities Inc. and FRV Media Inc. She is also a past director of Services Financiers CDPQ, Socanav Inc., the Montreal Cardiology Institute and a member of the Investment Committee of the Canada Arts Council.
