"Appointment ofΒ non-executive director"
Adventis Group plc, theΒ AIMΒ quoted multimedia marketing services and advertising agency, is pleased to announce the appointment ofΒ Aubrey AdamsΒ as a non-executive directorΒ with effectΒ from December 1 2008.
Aubrey John Adams, aged 59,Β qualified as an FCA with Price Waterhouse andΒ was Chief ExecutiveΒ ofΒ Savills plcΒ from 1991 to 2008.Β HeΒ is currentlyΒ Non-ExecutiveΒ Chairman of Air PartnerΒ PLCΒ and a Non-Executive Director of The British Land CompanyΒ PLC and Unitech Corporate Parks PLC.
Commenting on his appointmentΒ Charles Phillpot, Chief Executive of Adventis, said:

He has a wealth of experience in managing people businesses and was one of the main architectsΒ in turningΒ SavillsΒ into a FTSE250Β companyΒ with a global brand. Under his leadershipΒ revenues grew from Β£24m in 1992 to over Β£650m in 2007 and in the same period a loss of Β£2m was transformed into a profit of Β£86m.
We believe he will make a significant contribution to the future development and expansion of theΒ Company."
Mr AdamsΒ is currently also aΒ Non-executive Director of Pinnacle Regeneration Group plc and a trustee of the Wigmore Hall. During the past 5 years, he has also been a Non-executive Director of Associated British Ports Holdings plc and a Governor of Shiplake College.Β Β AubreyΒ AdamsΒ holdsΒ 175,000Β ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the capital of the Company, representing approximatelyΒ 0.4Β per cent. of Adventis' issued share capital.
There are no other matters required to be reported pursuant to Schedule Two (g) of theΒ AIMΒ Rules for Companies.Β
