Director's interest in shares

Pure Wafer plc ("Pure Wafer" or "the Company"), a provider of high quality silicon wafer reclaim services for many of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, announces that it has today been informed that Jerry Winters, director of US operations, has sold 26,000 shares in the Company on 25 March at a price of 84p per share and yesterday sold 20,000 shares at a price of 80p per share.

The sales were carried out as a tax mitigation exercise and Mr Winters will be using part of the proceeds to exercise EMI share options so that he will own the same number of shares as he did before the sales.

As a result and following the exercise of the EMI share options, Mr Winters' interests in the shares in the Company will comprise 114,841 ordinary shares and 174,527 warrants, all of which are exercisable at 20p per share.

Application will be made in due course for 46,000 New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM.
