POSTING OF CIRCULAR AND NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING
President Energy (AIM: PPC), the oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce that further to the announcement made on 15 November 2016 in relation to a US$20.0 million Fundraising and Loan Restructuring, the Company has today posted a circular to its shareholders containing further details in relation to those proposals. The circular contains a notice of General Meeting to seek shareholder approval in connection with the Fundraising and Loan Restructuring, which meeting will be held at 11:00 am on 2 December 2016 at the offices of Fieldfisher LLP, Riverbank House, 2 Swan Lane, London EC4R 3TT.
Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as set out in the Fundraising announcement issued by the Company on 15 November 2016.
