Name Change to Power Metal Resources plc

African Battery Metals plc (LON:ABM) the AIM listed battery metal exploration and development company is pleased to advise that the Company has agreed by board resolution to change its name to Power Metal Resources Plc.

The change of name application has been processed at Companies House and all relevant corporate regulatory procedures have been completed. 

The Company will commence trading on Monday 24 June 2019 under the new name of Power Metal Resources Plc and a new Tradable Instrument Display Mnemonic ("TIDM" or "Ticker") of POW.

The new website will be available from 7am on Monday 24 June 2019 at www.powermetalresources.com and enquiries may then be sent to info@powermetalresources.com.

All other information in respect of the Company remains unchanged including the contact address and telephone number which are detailed on the website. 

Existing ABM share and warrant certificates will remain valid and replacements will not be issued. 

Paul Johnson Executive Director of African Battery Metals commented: "Since the restructuring and refinancing approved by shareholders in February 2019 ABM has taken multiple steps forward.

The Company now has active operational interests in Botswana, Cameroon, the DRC and Tanzania. Each project interest is seeing exploration work undertaken and is expected to deliver operational news to the market in the near future.

We are now marking the reinvigorated business with a new name which we feel reflects the new drive of the Company. With so much operational activity we are pushing hard towards our strategic objective of identifying large scale mineral deposits.
