PLACEMENT OF rights issue SHORTFALL
Berkeley Resources Limited advises that the Company has placed the Shortfall Securities from its recent rights issue to Polo Resources Limited.
In accordance with the terms of the rights issue, 815,074 Shares at an issue price of $0.50 each, along with 407,537 free attaching Listed Options, have been issued to the nominee of Polo Resources Limited today.
Application will be made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 26 June 2009.
Following this placing the Company now has 123,471,279 Shares on issue. Polo Resources Limited's interest in the Company's shares is now 14,130,074 Shares, representing 11.44 per cent. of the issued share capital.
