PLACEMENT OFΒ rights issueΒ SHORTFALL
Berkeley ResourcesΒ LimitedΒ advisesΒ that the Company hasΒ placed the Shortfall SecuritiesΒ from its recent rights issue toΒ Polo Resources Limited.
In accordance with the terms of the rights issue, 815,074 Shares at an issue price of $0.50 each,Β along with 407,537 free attaching Listed Options,Β have been issued to the nominee of Polo Resources Limited today.
Application will be made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence onΒ 26Β June 2009.
Following this placing the Company now has 123,471,279 SharesΒ on issue. Polo Resources Limited's interest in the Company's sharesΒ is nowΒ 14,130,074Β Shares, representingΒ 11.44Β per cent. of the issued share capital.
