Appointment of Dr Pavel Maslovskiy as Chief Executive Officer
Petropavlovsk PLC (the "Company" or, together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") is pleased to note that, further to the announcement on 15 October 2014, the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the re-appointment of Dr Pavel Maslovskiy as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 5 November 2014.
In addition to holding the CEO position with the Group, prior to December 2011 Dr Maslovskiy was also a Non-Executive Director of IRC Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The Company confirms that there are no further details to be disclosed in relation to Dr Maslovskiy in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13.
The Company also notes that Mr Sergey Ermolenko, who held the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Company since December 2011, will retire from that position with effect from 5 November 2014. Mr Ermolenko will be reverting to his role as General Director of Management Company Petropavlovsk, a Russian subsidiary of the Group.
