Directors' Shareholdings
The Company announces that Brett Phillips (Finance Director) has today exercised 10,000 options issued pursuant to The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme. These options were granted with an exercise price of 345 pence per Ordinary share of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Share") on 4 April 2007. The total exercise price paid was £34,500.
The Company has accordingly transferred 10,000 shares to B. W. J. Phillips from a number of shares held in treasury by the Company. The total number of Ordinary Shares now held by the Company in treasury is 633,074. The Company has 10,563,030 Ordinary Shares in issue and 9,929,956 Ordinary Shares with voting rights following this notification.
After this transaction, B. W. J. Phillips is the beneficial holder of 40,455 Ordinary Shares (representing approximately 0.41% of the voting rights in the issued ordinary share capital of the Company). He now holds options over 159,000 Ordinary Shares.
