Positive Trading Update/ Interim Announcement Date

In preparing the consolidated results for the six months ended 31 October 2009, it has become clear that the cost saving initiatives recently implemented have been more successful than anticipated. In addition, underlying revenue for the full year is now expected to be ahead of previous Board expectations. As a consequence, the Board now expects the outturn for the year ending 30 April 2010 to be better than current market expectations. Further, it is now apparent that the Group had net cash balances at the half year end and the Board expects this also to be the case at the year end. 

The Group expects to issue its Interim Announcement on Wednesday 9 December 2009.
