Serge Crasnianski appointed a Non-Executive Director

Yesterday, the Board of Photo-Me (PHTM.L), the instant service equipment group, appointed Serge Crasnianski, 66, a 22.2% shareholder and for almost 45 years a key executive of what is now the Group, as a Non-Executive Director. 

In 1963, Serge Crasnianski founded KIS which, since 1994, has been the principal manufacturing arm of the Group. He was elected to the Board of Photo-Me in 1990 (until 1994, as a Non-Executive Director) and was Chief Executive Officer from 1998 until December 2007.

Welcoming Serge Crasnianski as a Non-Executive Director, Hugo Swire, Chairman, said: "Serge is hugely talented and extremely knowledgeable about Photo-Me and its markets. His continuing commitment to Photo-Me is evidenced by his substantial, recently increased shareholding. Since stepping down as CEO, he has made himself available to assist his successor, whenever requested. Especially in these uncertain times and with a new CEO due to be appointed in the coming months, his Board contribution will be valuable." 

There are no further matters to be disclosed in relation to this appointment pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
