Grant of options
The Company announces that on 19 May 2017, options over a total of 1,503,673 ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") were granted to Christopher Richards, Executive Chairman and Interim CEO, and options over a total of 1,339,115 Ordinary Shares were granted to Richard Webb, Executive Director. These awards were made in accordance with the terms of a share option agreement approved by the Company's Remuneration Committee on 19 May 2017, under which the options have an exercise price of £0.26, have a 10 year life and are each subject to performance conditions and vesting periods.
In addition, the Company today reports that options over Ordinary Shares granted pursuant to the Company's Value Creation Plan ("VCP") have expired and are no longer capable of being exercised by employees. This includes the options granted to Christopher Richards under the VCP.
Further, the Company announces that options over a total of 1,790,000 Ordinary Shares, as announced on 18 June 2015 granted to Christopher Richards and Richard Webb pursuant to the Company's 2015 Employee Share Plan, have been surrendered.
The table below sets out the impact of the above announcements and the resulting number of options held by Christopher Richards and Richard Webb:
