Plant Health Care appoints James Ede-Golightly as Non-Executive Director

The Board of Plant Health Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. James Ede-Golightly as a non-executive director.

Mr. Ede-Golightly, age 33, has extensive experience as a non-executive on the Boards of small and mid-sized AIM quoted companies with international business interests. In 2012, he was awarded New Chartered Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors.

From 2006 to 2009 Mr. Ede-Golightly was an executive director of ORA Capital Partners Ltd, where he remains a non-executive director. He is a CFA Charterholder and was previously an analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Commerzbank.

The Board is very mindful of the need to achieve high standards of corporate governance in a cost effective manner. A key element of this is achieving effective engagement, trust and communication with the shareholder base as a whole. James' connections and experience of our major shareholders, together with his particular experience of smaller AIM quoted companies, makes him a welcome addition to the Board.

Mr. Ede-Golightly has a personal holding of 163,000 shares in the Company (representing 0.23 % of the current issued share capital), and a further beneficial interest in 200,000 shares (0.28% of its share capital) through Fermain Capital Limited.

In addition, Mr. Ede-Golightly has an indirect interest in the Company through ORA Capital Partners Limited and its associate companies, Antisoma plc and Quoram plc. These companies have previously disclosed holdings of 12,095,279 3,377,596 and 844,400 shares in the Company respectively (representing 17.15%, 4.79% and 1.20% of its share capital).

Save for the information disclosed above there is no other information to be disclosed under Rule 17 or Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in relation to Mr James Lawrence Ede-Golightly appointment as a Director of the Company other than as follows:
