Exercise of Options
On the 16th January 2009 the board of Petroceltic International plc was informed of the exercise of 6,000,000 share options (six million) on that day over ordinary shares of Euro 0.0125 each ("Ordinary Shares") under the Company's 1997 Share Option Scheme with an exercise price of Euro 0.0125 per share, by its Chief Executive Officer, John Craven.
Subsequent to the exercise of these options Mr. Craven sold an amount of shares at Stg £0.0325 in order to fund the associated income tax. Following this transaction Mr Craven has increased his holding in the Company by 3,000,000 (three million) shares to 17,343,940 representing approximately 1.8% of the total shares issued.
An application will be made to the London and Irish Stock Exchanges for 6,000,000 (six million) Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and IEX respectively.
