Update on Rajasthan High Court Case
Panthera Resources plc (AIM: PAT), the gold exploration and development company with assets in India and West Africa, is pleased to provide an update regarding the pending Rajasthan High Court Case.
The High Court has previously issued notices to both the Government of Rajasthan and Government of India, and more recently passed an additional order giving the Government a last opportunity to file a reply to the writ petition by 17 June 2019, with the matter relisted for 8 July 2019. To date no reply has been filed by the Government.
The writ petition was listed for yesterday but did not reach the roster before the court session ended. This matter will now be rescheduled by the court.
In the meantime, the Stay Order remains in place and protects the rights of the joint venture over the entire area of the Prospecting Licence application.
