Transaction in own shares

Paragon Banking Group PLC (the "Company") announces that, following a purchase of its ordinary shares of £1.00 each through Peel Hunt LLP ("Peel Hunt"), it has completed the extended share buyback programme of up to £75m, announced on 14 June 2022. Details of the share purchase carried out by Peel Hunt today can be found below:-

Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 6,266,920 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 235,169,327 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). This figure 235,169,327 represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
