Ovoca Gold PLC01 December 2006 Ovoca announces New Chief Executive Officer Ovoca Gold Plc (AIM: OVG; IEX: OVX) is pleased to announce the Appointment of Mr Leonid Skoptsov as Chief Executive Officer. Ovoca Gold plc, the Russian focused precious metals developer announces theappointment of Mr. Leonid Pavlovich Skoptsov (aged 52) as Chief ExecutiveOfficer, in line with the company's goal to intensify it focus on developingcore assets in Russia. Mr. Skoptsov, who is currently a non-executive directorof the company, takes over from Dr. Barrie Oakes with immediate effect. Dr.Oakes remains on the Board as a non-executive director.
