GAZPROM PLACES 15 BLN RUBLE-DENOMINATED SERIES A11 AND A13 BONDS
On 30 June 2009 Gazprom placed ruble-denominated series A11 and A13 bonds for the total amount of RUR 15 bln with annual coupon rates of 13.75% and 13.12% respectively. Book runners for the deal are Gazprombank and Citibank; co-runners are Horizon Corporate Finance, Renaissance Capital and FC Uralsib. Bond issue A11 for the amount of RUR 5 bln has a five-year maturity with a put option in two years. Bond issue A13 for the amount of RUR 10 bln has a three-year maturity with a put option in one year. The coupon periods for the both bond issues are 182 days.
The orderbook exceeded RUR 45 bln, which was three times greater than the transactions value.
The proceeds from the offering of the Bonds will be used to finance capital expenditures of Gazprom, refinance the Company's debt and optimize the corporate debt portfolio structure.

During 1999 - 2007 Gazprom placed 9 series of ruble-denominated bond issues for the total amount of RUR 48 bln. There are 5 outstanding bond issues for the total amount of RUR 25 bln at the moment.
