Requisition Notice for the Removal of Mr Richard Chase as a Director

The Board of Nyota Minerals Limited (ASX/AIM: NYO) (Nyota) advises that it has received a letter from Centamin plc, requesting the convening of a general meeting of shareholders to consider a resolution to remove Mr Richard Chase as a director of Nyota and any Nyota group company.

The Company considers that the letter does not comply with the requirements of section 249D of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act). Consequently, the Company has requested that it be provided with a notice which does comply. Upon receipt of a valid notice, the Company will comply with its obligations under the Corporations Act and update the market in due course.
