NetDimensions to Launch an Innovative Portable LMS Solution at ASTD 2010

Hong Kong, May 13, 2010 -- NetDimensions (London Stock Exchange, AIM: NETD), a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, will launch a groundbreaking portable LMS solution called Mobile EKP (mEKP) at ASTD 2010 International Conference & Exposition in Chicago next week.

mEKP will enable users to review course materials, run courses, take exams and review documents, as well as review exam and training history information from any computer with a USB port at their convenience.

 "mEKP is a simplified version of the Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP), running independently from a USB flash drive," states Ray Ruff, Chief Information Officer at NetDimensions.

Additionally, it resolves the problem of delivering very high-bandwidth requirement materials (e.g., gigabytes of video/flash/simulation) in a timely manner.

"Users do not have to install anything. All they have to do is plug in a mEKP flash drive into any computer with a USB port and launch the LMS," adds Ruff.

A Truly Portable LMS

mEKP can intelligently manage user information while offline and communicate with a master EKP system to synchronize user information when an Internet connection is available.

"mEKP is a much more powerful tool than offline players," Ruff explains.

"As a portable e-learning environment, mEKP can support all courseware and exam detail delivery, career development review, and direct resources access. It also has the same security options and permissions settings of a master EKP system and can support encryption of flash drive content."
