In conformity with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company would like to notify the market that as atΒ 30 SeptemberΒ 2009, the issued share capital of Max Petroleum consisted ofΒ 391,313,672Β ordinaryΒ shares with voting rights attached (one vote per ordinary share). There are no ordinary shares held in Treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Max Petroleum isΒ 391,313,672.
The above total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for theΒ calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, Max Petroleum under theΒ Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.Β
