Modern Water PLC01 August 2007 Press Release 1 August 2007 Modern Water appoints Business Development Director Modern Water plc ("Modern Water" or "the Group") today announces the appointmentof Roger Webster as Business Development Director, a role which will focus onthe deployment, licensing and selling of the Group's technology. Roger joins from Biwater Plc where he gained extensive international experiencein Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and most recently Africa where he wasManaging Director of the South African businesses. He has a wide range ofproject management and business development experience within the waterutilities sector, and these will be fundamental to the new position. Roger will help Modern Water implement its growth strategy which focuses on theexploitation of water related technologies to meet the growing world-wide demandfor the economic availability of fresh water and treatment of waste water.
