Period-end Trading update
Murgitroyd, the European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney practice, is pleased to announce a trading update for the financial year ended 31 May 2012.
The Board confirms that both activity levels and business performance for the second half of the financial year have continued at the levels seen in the first half. As a result, the underlying trading result for the full year is anticipated to fully meet market expectations and the Board continues to remain confident about the future prospects for the Group.
The Group opened a new central London office, in the City, in April 2012. Subsequent recruitment in to this new office has taken place and is ongoing. Recruitment also continues in to the Group's expanded Munich Office, which moves into new larger office accommodation in November.
Murgitroyd continues to recruit professional and paralegal staff across its office network, including graduates into its recently launched Intern Programme.
These developments reflect the Group's continuing commitment to, and success in delivering, growth.
The Group expects to release its results for the financial year ended 31 May 2012 on or around 10 September 2012, and will hold its AGM on 25 October 2012 at its Head Office in Glasgow.
