Motive receives favourable judgment in High Court case
Motive Television PLC (AIM: MTV.LN), the digital television technology, software and services provider, is pleased to announce that a judgment in favourof Motive has been handed down by the High Court in the litigation with Mr Andre Vanyi-Robin, a former employee of Motive Television S.L. in Barcelona.
Mr Vanyi-Robin had been claiming that Motive owed him approximately £183,000 in respect of new Motive shares he alleged should have been issued to him as consideration for the acquisition of his shares in Adecq S. L. (now called Motive Television S.L.). The court has rejected his claim. Costs were awarded against Mr Vanyi-Robin. Mr Vanyi-Robin is appealing against this judgment. Motive is confident that the appeal will be dismissed.
Most of Mr Vanyi-Robin's other claims against the Company relate to his dismissal for gross misconduct. The Company believes these claims have no foundation and will continue to contest them with the utmost vigour.
